"I felt some great sadness and joy just taking in the poetic/creative/artistic aspect of the presentation. I felt sad for the struggle of the farmer and joy that they do it because I prefer eating good, organic, healthy food.. Maybe my experience is the point of the production!"

-Old Town Playhouse (Traverse City, MI) audience member

"In a world that is increasingly polarized, explorations such as we have experienced provide a safe place to open up that dialogue."

-Wendy Weiland - cast member, multi-generational family farmer, and MSU Extension educator

"In 1980 we decided to grow food for people. I think one of the best things we have going for the farm - I almost consider as another crop - are the kids that work here. It's usually the kid's first job. . . They love it and they do good work! I think tha is a great benefit to the community to have jobs for young kids."
